At St. Mary School, our mission is to be Christ-centered to all, to share the traditions of Catholicism through faithful service to our parish and local communities, and to build enduring academic foundations that foster growth-mindset and critical thinking in our students in an uplifting and nurturing environment.
Our Belief Statements
At Saint Mary School, we believe:
- Christ is the reason for our school, and as a Catholic institution, all that we do is based on our faith.
- Students need a supportive and challenging learning environment that nurtures individual God-given gifts and talents as they progress developmentally. Students need to be guided to develop the soft skills and real-world technology applications necessary to thrive in society including collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, and technological proficiency.
- A variety of resources and support are provided to meet the students’ diverse learning styles.
- Ongoing assessment includes a wide range of opportunities that allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and achievement.
- Students work to develop responsibility, compassion, and leadership skills that are essential in order to live their faith and become contributing members of the church and society.
