EdChoice Scholarship

Thanks to the recent expansion of Ohio’s EdChoice Scholarship Program, every family in the Buckeye State – regardless of their address or household income – can utilize state scholarship dollars to help fund tuition at the Catholic school of their choosing.

There are two components of the scholarship application process- an application packet submitted by the school and income documents submitted by each family. You will not need to complete the income verification process each year unless you would like to have your household income recalculated for your award amount.

Jon Peterson Scholarship

Jon Peterson Scholarship The Jon Peterson Scholarship provides funds to deliver services for students with special needs in nonpublic schools. The amount of the scholarship is determined by category of disability with the highest category at $32,445. To apply for this scholarship, please contact our school office for more information.

Autism Scholarship

The Autism Scholarship provides funds to deliver services for students with autism in nonpublic schools. The amount of the scholarship is determined by category of disability with the highest category at $32,455.

Diocesan Scholarship

Any family with child(ren) attending a Catholic elementary and/or a Catholic high school in the diocese is eligible for these funds that are culled from a variety of sources including endowments, fundraisers and direct donations to the Office of Catholic Schools. To apply for these funds, families must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid application by March 15, 2024.

SGO Scholarship

The Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund was established to benefit any student registered at one of our 52 high schools and parochial elementary schools in the Diocese of Columbus. Scholarships are prioritized for low-income students, designated as 300% of the federal poverty line; however, all students can benefit from this program, making an authentically, Catholic education accessible and affordable for all who desire it. To apply for these funds, families must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid application by March 15, 2024.

Auxiliary Scholarships

Saint Mary School also offers other scholarships through endowments. These outside scholarship applications and all supporting documentation are due March 15th, 2024. “Auxiliary Scholarships”

Outside Parish Scholarships

If you would like to be considered for scholarships from your parish (what used to be the parish subsidy), families must complete the form below. Now that all families are eligible for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship, assistance from parishes will still be offered as needed on a case-by-case basis, per instructions from the Office of Catholic Schools and the practice throughout the diocese.
