How to Apply

St. Mary School

Steps for Admission

1. Complete Online Application

Click on the following link to complete our admissions application. First-time users, click “Create an Account”

You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.

2. Upload Documentation

Upload your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, custody documentation, etc. using the FACTS portal where you completed your child’s application.

3. Records Review

Once we receive your completed application, which includes a release of record form, we will contact your child’s school to request attendance, academic, etc. records for review.

4. STAR Test

All incoming 1st-8th grade students will complete a STAR math and STAR reading assessment. The STAR assessments by Renaissance provide teachers with current, reliable, and valid data quickly so they can target instruction, monitor progress, provide students with appropriate instructional materials, and intervene with at-risk students. This system of assessments is used not only to inform data-based decisions, but also to support instructional frameworks. Additionally, the data allows for targeted intervention lesson ideas linked to diagnostic data and designed to address student misconceptions in mathematics and reading with built-in progress-monitoring tools. The STAR tests are computer adaptive, which means they adjust to each answer your child provides. This helps teachers get the best data to help your child in the shortest amount of testing time. Typically, each assessment takes less than 30 minutes to complete, and our Admissions Director will contact you to schedule the assessment.

5. Complete Scholarship Applications

To be considered for any type of Saint Mary financial assistance (including what used to be the parish subsidy), families must complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Application. Applications and all supporting documentation must be submitted online via FACTS between now and March 15th, 2024. Families who choose to not receive a parish scholarship or any other financial aid and agree to pay the full amount of tuition do not need to complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Application.

Additionally, all families are eligible for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.
